Our Standard Delivery Policy Trade Account & Web Shop Orders


We aim to ensure goods arrive in a timely way to your nominated site or facility. Orders received Monday to Friday, are processed for despatch on a standard courier delivery service, subject to product availability. Generally, order cut off times are as follows:
· For trade account orders – 3pm for same day despatch
· For web orders – 1pm for same day despatch.
Goods requiring other delivery services, dedicated transport, and for any palletised items, these will go out on a Pallet-line service to arrive approximately 2-3 days following despatch.
If arranging collection, call in advance on 01202 283 660 for a collection time for your order.

Returning Goods Returned Goods: A re-stocking charge of 25% per order applies on agreement with PPFV for products in resaleable condition. See sections applying pages 2/3.
Refund Policy NO RETURN / REFUND POLICY for orders with Pipes or Coils.

Notes:
Same day delivery services can be considered for a confirmed order able to be processed before 12pm noon in standard office hours and is subject to the delivery postcode and available transport.
National carriers do not operate on bank/public holidays; however, we will always do our best to help with any reasonable request

Daily Order - courier cut off times:

PPFV uses standard courier services which will usually deliver next day but can take anywhere from 1-4 working day and is subject to items being available in stock.

The national courier network does have regional variations depending on the service requested and this may apply to your order – please be aware of this when ordering.

Pipe lengths are in 3m as standard and will be loose bagged for protection or palletised if the quantity ordered is of a certain weight – this will be made clear when quoting and at the point of ordering and may be subject to an additional delivery surcharge depending on the service requested.

As we use 3rd party delivery agents, PPFV Ltd is unable to guarantee that all deliveries will be the next working day. PPFV Ltd will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of markets, loss of reputation, loss of customers, loss of use, loss of an opportunity even if we had knowledge that such damages or loss might arise or for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or loss howsoever arising.


Our Returns Policy:

PPFV provides products of the highest quality, and we know you will be pleased with your choice of items. However, there may be situations beyond our control when you need to return items to us. In this case, please contact us on 01202 283 660 to obtain a 'Returns Order Number' so that we can deal with your request.

Please note that for specially requested items that are not part of our standard product range, there may be a restocking charge applicable that would be removed from any refund or credit note. Please ask for details before placing an order if you are in any doubt.

There is a no returns policy for any Pipe orders, something that’s standard within our industry due to the costs involved in collection. Custom made Items that are manufactured specifically for a customer are unfortunately not covered by any returns policy.


Your Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 14 days after you receive the goods under The Consumer Contracts Regulations. Please note that this policy has some limitations which are detailed below and do not apply to trade account business customers.

To exercise your right of cancellation you must give written notice to PPFV Ltd either via hand, post or email. Notification by telephone is not sufficient.

Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to PPFV Ltd at your own cost.

The goods must be returned to the address as shown on the ‘returns form’. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged or the box defaced in any way in the meantime or whilst in transit. In the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, PPFV Ltd shall, after receiving notification, either collect the goods from you or ask you to return the goods at an agreed cost which PPFV Ltd will pay for.

For non-trade/business customers, once you have notified PPFV Ltd that you are cancelling an order, PPFV Ltd will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you do not return the goods as required, PPFV Ltd may charge back a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods.

You do not have the right to cancel the order if the order is for consumable goods which, by their nature, cannot be returned, except where a fault may be discovered which could not have been discovered otherwise than by unsealing the goods.

Items Damaged in Transit

If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report them to us within 7 working days including photos and as much detail as possible (please note that this is 48 hours for our trade & business customers). If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, simply refuse the delivery.

Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs.


Items Faulty on Arrival

If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 14 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance, you will be liable for the return carriage.


Items Faulty in Warranty Period

If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it's more than 14 calendar days since receipt, then provided your item is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair. In some cases, manufacturers provide a specialist full on-site service and/or telephone help facilities for your convenience which we recommend you use to correct the fault quickly. For business customers, all warranty repairs after 28 days of receipt are referred directly to the manufacturer (unless otherwise stated).


If you Change your Mind

If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with The Consumer Contracts Regulations you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 14 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under The Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a further 14 calendar days from this point to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at PPFV Ltd, we'll issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method within a reasonable timescale. Under The Consumer Contracts Regulations, any standard postage paid for delivery will be refunded but extra services such as ‘AM’ delivery for example are not covered so would not be refunded. Please note this policy has some limitations and does not apply to trade/business customers.

PPFV Ltd, at our discretion, may accept returns outside of this time but a restocking fee may be charged, and postage will not be refunded, we will advise you of these charges before return and you will have deemed to accept these conditions upon returning the goods.
