PVC-U Pressure Pipe Systems PVC-U is a widely used material in pressure pipework installations, suitable for both interior and exterior applications. PVC-U is robust, light to handle and easily jointed when employing good preparation practices. Standards Individual products are made in accordance with appropriate BS & EN (European) Standards, PVC-U fittings observe (Imperial) EN1452-3, BS4346 Part, (Metric) DIN 8063, UNI 7442/75, (Threads) BS21, DIN 2999, SO 7/1. Quality PPFV supply products manufactured under the independent ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Management standard with appropriate approvals and certification. Material PPFV supply products that conform to the EEC safety Level for Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) and the water regulation for potable water (DVGW, KIWA, ACS, WRAS approvals). Projects with specified approval or certification requirements, contact us for details. Chemical Resistance The chemical resistance properties of PVC-U are excellent. It is resistant to most solutions of acids, alkalis, salts and to solvents that can be mixed with water. Colour PPFV PVC-U pressure products are manufactured in a mid-grey colour.
