MDPE Compression Fittings & Valves

The PPFV Mechanical compression range is for use with PE pipework in the conveyance of potable water, fluids and slurries under pressure. MDPE pipes installed with compression fittings are one of the most widely used systems for above and below ground pipework installations. Products are manufactured to the highest quality and approved by recognised testing institutes and certification bodies.

Standards – Individual products are made in accordance with appropriate British and European (EN) Standards, MDPE Valves observe ISO 7/1, DIN 2999, MDPE Fittings observe ISO 14236, EN12201, DIN8076 & NP45

Quality & Certification – We supply products manufactured under the independent ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Management standard with appropriate approvals and certification.

Materials – MDPE products (body/nut/insert) use a high performance polypropylene copolymer. The split ring is Acetal (POM), O-Rings Nitrile Rubber (NBR).

Chemical Resistance – PPFV Compression fittings are manufactured from polypropylene with a split ring made from Acetal and have NBR O-Rings, being suitable for water. For chemical applications please refer to the appropriate chemical resistance chart.

Colour – MDPE products are made in a blue colour.

Temperature to Pressure Relationship – Fittings/Valves/Pipe are not to be used for hot water and should not exceed 20°C although they will withstand the same temperature as polyethylene pipe. With increased temperature adjust pressure down, contact us for details.
