Black PE Pipe Coils & Stick

The KP irrigation mechanical compression range is for use with PE pipework in the conveyance of irrigation, landscaping & agricultural fluids, water, and slurries under pressure. PE pipes installed with KP irrigation compression fittings & pipes are one of the most widely used systems for above & below ground pipework installations. Products are manufactured to the highest quality.

Standards - Individual products are made in accordance with appropriate British & European (EN) standards and pressure rated to operate at PN16 at 20°C, MDPE Pipe observes EN12201 Blue PE80 BSEN12201 with Kite Mark

Quality & Certification - We supply products manufactured under the independent ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Management standard and the ISO14001 Environmental standard supported with industry recognised approvals and certification.

Material - KP Irrigation products use a high-performance polypropylene block (PP.B) copolymer for the Body & Nut. The split ring is Acetal (POM), and the lip seal gasket (type of O-Ring seal) is produced in an EPDM material with a 70-shore hardness. Take of threads have a AISI0430 steel ring starting at 1¼" upwards. Blue Medium Density Pipe (PE80) Polyethylene is for drinking water applications and for underground installations.

Chemical Resistance - KP Irrigation compression fittings are manufactured from PP plastic with a split ring made from Acetal and have NBR O-Rings, being suitable for water. For chemical applications please refer to the appropriate chemical resistance chart.

Colour - KP Irrigation Fitting bodies are black in colour as standard, the closing nuts can be in any colour and are generally Blue or Black.

Temperature to Pressure Relationship - KP irrigation PP/PE Fittings, Valves and Pipes are not to be used for hot water and should not exceed a working temperature of 20°C although they will withstand the same pressures as polyethylene pipe. With increased temperature adjust pressure down, contact us for details or refer to the pressure table.

Fittings from 20mm to 63mm are rated to 16 Bar pressure at ambient temperatures. Larger sizes at 10 Bar, Threaded fittings should always be used at 10 Bar unless otherwise specified.

Note - Fittings in sizes up to 63mm should be tightened by hand as the seal made by the Lip Seal Gasket is sufficient. Larger sizes can be tightened using a locking wrench.
