ABS Pressure Pipe Systems

PPFV Ltd is a stockist distributor of Effast Industrial Pressure Pipework products.

PPFV stocks and distributes ABS pressure pipework products in Imperial sizes from 1/2" to 8" in plain and adaptor fittings, pipes and valves.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a homogenous material with good chemical resistance and high impact strength. ABS characteristics make it suitability for use at low temperatures and its ease of jointing where good preparation practice is applied.

Material

The material meets the requirements of the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme for potable water. (DWI/KIWA/WRAS/NF/ACS approvals)

Chemical Resistance

The chemical resistance properties of ABS are good for most diluted inorganic acids, organic acids, animal fats and oils and salts. It is not resistant to acetic acid, alcohol, organic solvents, petrol, oils, and vegetable oil.

Colour

ABS Products are manufactured in mid grey colour (RAL 7046).

Temperature range

ABS is suitable for use over a wide temperature range from -40°C to 70°C.
